Donaldson Vehicle Electrification, is one of the divisions of Donaldson Life Science department. Within the VE department we develop, manufacture and supply venting solutions that best meet our customers requirements. To support our growth and increasing number of projects were looking at expanding our dynamic team. Are you the person were looking for to continue to grow this exciting business? Role and responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for an assigned group of existing OEM and Tier1 active in the automotive market with responsibility for revenue growth and new projects acquisition (75%).
  • Identify and prioritize short- and long-term objectives of the fuel cell market.
  • Develop and implement action plans and support existing and potential new FC customers, define and manage projects in line with our BU objectives (25%).
  • Prepare implementation plans and lead client on-boarding; present content strategy and annual plan.
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly status and results presentations to internal team to ensure a deep enough understanding of clients status and needs.
  • Your focus is to establish a solid network and strong business relations with existing and potential growth customers, to develop in Europe and globally relationships in collaboration with USA and APAC teams
  • You will generate and manage quotations, contract reviews and project management activities, in close collaboration with our internal supporting teams (engineering, legal, quality,..)
  • Assume global account manager responsibility for global accounts based in your region.
  • Focus on ensuring we maintain superior customer service levels, operational excellence, and strategic insight.
Qualifications
  • You have an engineering or commercial degree (or equivalent through experience) with strong technical interest. Your passion for technology and your common sense are considered equally valuable.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in long term project sales (preferably international).
  • You have already gained branch knowledge in the field of fuel cells.
  • You are an outgoing, proactive and sales minded person, eager to grow and develop the market in your region. You are a well-prepared, door-opening relationship-builder and natural born networker.
  • You combine team spirit with drive and positive attitude, are solution oriented and knows how to align external demands and internal resources to build long term business relations.
  • You demonstrate project and account management skills as you will be playing a significant role in the whole process (engaging with engineering, R&D, purchasing …).
  • You are a self-starter, able to work autonomously and willing to travel within Europe (30%). You are fluent in English (written and verbal) and able to conduct business in either French or German.
  • This position is based in our office in Leuven-Heverlee (Belgium).
