As R&D Manager Software you will lead a dynamic development team of talented software engineers, which is executing
software design for cutting-edge solutions for our innovative Defense & Security and Air Traffic Control products.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for devising and implementing R&D Software policy, for the short and long
term, in line with the company objectives. You have the ability to prioritize.
- You keep a close eye on the objective, planning and ensure timely delivery for the software team contributions to
NPI projects.
- You analyze new technology trends, from which you detect and initiate new product developments
and product improvements.
- You question – with your critical eye - the R&D processes and make the necessary optimizations
(product, development, process...).
- You focus on the development of the R&D team. You lead and inspire the team and act as a sound board or
coach where necessary.
- You work closely together with hardware and mechanics R&D team.
- You report to the R&D director.
