Our client, a primary supplier to multiple NATO frameworks, is seeking a qualified to support their database and BI infrastructure.






Werkplek: Braine-l'Alleud, België





On-site Requirement: 100% on-site





Mandatory: Candidates must already hold a valid NATO Secret, EU Secret, or an equivalent national clearance level or higher





Contract Start Date: 16 February 2026





Contract End Date: 31 December 2026





Contract Duration: Various start dates across 2026







The Database Administrator will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, performance, availability, and lifecycle management of database platforms and associated Business Intelligence (BI) technologies in both on-premises and cloud environments.





Key responsibilities



Monitoring database performance and implementing measures to ensure high availability




Defining and executing backup, recovery, and upgrade strategies





Managing, patching, and upgrading BI technology stacks, including Oracle Analytics, OBIEE, ODI, WebLogic, Apache, and Tomcat





Automating database administration tasks and maintaining lifecycle management of software





Supporting both on-premises and cloud database environments







Skills & experience






Strong knowledge of Oracle, MySQL Server, and/or PostgreSQL, with hands-on experience in at least two





Understanding of MySQL High Availability/Disaster Recovery solutions





Experience with Ords, Apache HTTP, and Tomcat administration





Proficient in Linux/Unix and Microsoft Windows Server





Knowledge of advanced HA/DR architectures, server clustering, and virtual infrastructures
