Job Description

Senior Design Engineer at Locinox. Join our product innovation team focused on access gate solutions.

Responsibilities

• Brainstorm concepts, design in CAD, produce prototypes, and oversee testing until a successful product is achieved.
• Collaborate with manufacturers and production (DFM, DFA).
• Lead the technical development of the entire product, from concept to first production run.
• Initiate from idea, perform simulations and tests, and oversee realization with the internal prototype department.
• Work closely with project team designers, sharing expertise and insights, and contribute to the development of the R&D organization.
• Report to the R&D Manager.

Qualifications

• Degree in industrial engineering or equivalent, 10 years of product design experience, with a solid understanding of production techniques.
• Technically proficient in mechanical and/or electromechanical domains, strong logical, abstract, and analytical reasoning, and advanced 3D insight.
• Experienced with 3D‑CAD software, preferably SolidWorks, capable of translating concepts into detailed designs.
• Strong project management skills, ability to keep projects on target and within budget, and effective coordination of sub‑projects.
• Fluent in English, enabling effective communication in an international context.
