Context  
A public utility organization is seeking a Senior IT Test Manager to lead testing activities across multiple strategic Business-IT transformation projects. The role ensures that testing governance, quality assurance, and release readiness comply with the organization's testing strategy while supporting complex SAP-based environments and enterprise applications.
 
 
 
Responsibilities
  • Define and implement the testing strategy for strategic IT projects.
  • Prepare integrated test plans with project managers, business stakeholders, and functional consultants.
  • Coordinate all testing phases and monitor execution.
  • Define testing scope, planning, KPIs, and dashboards.
  • Manage defects and ensure their resolution using JIRA.
  • Build and maintain reusable test scenario libraries.
  • Define acceptance criteria.
  • Coordinate end-to-end integration testing.
  • Ensure regression testing before production deployment.
  • Produce testing reports for project governance.
  • Administer and optimize JIRA projects and workflows.
  • Configure dashboards, permissions, notification schemes, and reports.
  • Support testing documentation and knowledge management.
  • Analyze SAP blueprints to define relevant E2E test scenarios.
 
 
Technical skills  
Must have
  • Senior Test Management experience on complex IT projects.
  • Advanced expertise in JIRA administration.
  • Experience with Xray, Zephyr, or equivalent.
  • ISTQB Foundation Certification.
  • Strong Test Management expertise.
  • Experience defining testing governance and KPIs.
  • Good knowledge of SAP ECC6 processes.
  • Experience with SAP integration testing.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Leadership and stakeholder management.
  • Fluent French, Dutch, and English.
  • Ability to work onsite in Brussels three days per week.
 
Should have
  • ISTQB Advanced / Test Manager certification.
  • Knowledge of SAP modules FI/CO, MM, SD, PP.
  • Knowledge of SAP interfaces (IDoc, RFC, PI/PO, APIs).
  • Prince2 Project Management.
  • Experience with ERP transformation programs.
  • BPMN knowledge.
  • Experience with Change Management.
  • Knowledge of ISO27001, NIS2 and GDPR.
 
Nice to have
  • Knowledge of SharePoint.
  • Power Apps.
  • Power Automate.
  • WinDev.
  • Software AG technologies.
