Service Technician

Your role

Are you a technical all-rounder who loves challenges? At Delta Engineering, youll have the opportunity to further develop and apply your

technical knowledge on a global scale. As a service technician, you ensure a flawless installation and service of advanced machines at our

customers. You will first receive a thorough training in our workshop. For at least six months to a year, you will be trained to master the

operation of our machines. Afterwards, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following tasks:

• Installation and start-up: You are responsible for the installation and start-up of machines and production lines at our customers.

• Service and maintenance: As part of the service department, you are also responsible for the maintenance and repairs of our

machines, as well as providing technical training to our customers.

• Problem-solving: If there are problems or malfunctions at the customers site, you are the first point of contact and you identify and

solve the problem. If necessary, you can count on the support of our colleagues from our Service and Automation department.

• Reporting: You keep a daily report of your activities and findings and provide feedback to internal departments for continuous

improvement.

• Worldwide: The interventions are mainly located in Europe but can also take place worldwide.

• Knowledge sharing: When you are not on an intervention, you work together with our start-up team in our production hall and share

your experiences to improve the overall teams performance.

Your profile

• You have a higher technical education (Bachelor) or have equivalent experience.

• You have approximately 3 years of experience as a service technician, preferably in machine construction.

• A solid knowledge of electromechanics is essential.

• Knowledge of pneumatics and an interest in control systems and PLCs are a plus.

• You are a positive-minded colleague who can work independently but also functions well within a team.

• You remain calm under pressure and can handle deadlines.

• You are willing to travel approximately 50% of your time and you are flexible in this regard.

• You communicate fluently and professionally in both Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is an asset.

• You are willing to follow trainings to further expand your skills.

• Customer focus and delivering high-quality work are two qualities that best describe you.
