Job Description

As Facility coordinator you are responsible for maintaining and organizing all activities related to our TOMRA plant. You manage site-based facilities management services to ensure a sustainable, safe, clean and functional environment for our employees, visitors and all stakeholders in the company.

You will:

  • Serve as the SPOC for all facility requests at the Leuven plant
  • Handle daily small tasks and weekly follow-up
  • Organize cleaning schedules, security, and registration
  • Determine and schedule repairs, renovation projects, and waste reduction improvements
  • Conduct safety inspections with the prevention officer
  • Maintain the budget
  • Negotiate with outside vendors for supplies, repairs, and other measures alongside procurement
  • Oversee groundskeepers, maintenance workers, etc.
  • Provide professional administrative support and adequate information to the local management on budget & planning of the facilities in & around the plant.

Key responsibilities:

  • You carry out the small projects as moving, changing lamps, small electricity changes, ….
  • You coordinate facilities management services to ensure a sustainable, safe, clean and functional environment for our employees, visitors and customers of our office.
  • You are in charge of the daily and weekly follow-up and organizing, cleaning schedules, security, registration, as well as determining and scheduling repairs, renovation projects, waste reduction improvements and safety inspections, etc.
  • Furthermore, you are responsible for crafting a budget to account for all a facilities operational costs. You are constantly looking for ways to reduce costs while still maintaining high standards. You ensure that all aspects of the building and grounds (facilities, building structures, assets and systems) are maintained to agreed standards and within agreed costs and timeframes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor in facility management or several years of experience in facility management
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English and Dutch (written and verbal)
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Basic knowledge of electricity
  • Proficient in MS Office
