What You Will Do

As the Director of Solutions Engineering for the EMEA and APAC regions, you will act as the strategic and technical link between Lighthouse’s technology and our clients’ business goals. You will combine technical expertise, hospitality knowledge, and commercial acumen to design solutions that drive measurable value. Working closely with Sales and Account Management, you will lead discovery sessions, create tailored demos, and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the customer journey.

  • Partner with Account Executives and Account Managers to provide technical expertise and solution design.
  • Conduct in-depth discovery to understand customers’ technology stack, pain points, and business objectives.
  • Deliver compelling, tailored product demonstrations that highlight Lighthouse’s value in Revenue Management, Benchmarking, and Performance Intelligence.
  • Translate complex technical capabilities into clear, outcome-driven business benefits for executives and operators.
  • Respond to RFPs/RFIs and support compliance and security reviews with technical input.
  • Advise on integration requirements (PMS, CRS, CRM, BI tools, APIs).
  • Provide structured feedback to Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams based on customer and market insights.
  • Support Account Managers during QBRs with data analysis, product insights, and expansion recommendations.
  • Contribute to customer programs such as CABs, workshops, and industry events.
  • Enable and mentor Sales and Account Management reps with demo coaching, technical training, and product knowledge sharing.

Who you are

  • 5+ years of experience in a hotel commercial leadership role implementing SaaS BI solutions, or 5+ years in a Solutions Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or Technical Pre-Sales role within SaaS, BI, or hospitality technology.
  • Strong understanding of the hospitality tech ecosystem (PMS, CRS, RMS, channel managers, BI platforms).
  • Commercially minded with the ability to identify and influence upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Skilled in delivering impactful product demonstrations and executive presentations.
  • Experience with API integrations, data architecture, and enterprise IT environments.
  • Excellent communicator with strong storytelling and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and structured thinker with a solid understanding of revenue management and performance benchmarking.
  • Adaptable to fast-paced, cross-functional, global settings.
  • Willing to travel up to 10% for client meetings, conferences, and team events.
